Prague, June 14 (CTK) – Building societies in the Czech Republic granted loans worth almost Kc18bn to clients in January-May, a year-on-year decrease of 29 percent, according to data from the five largest Czech building societies.
Building societies signed more than 355,000 new contracts in January-May, a year-on-year drop of 7,000. Two building societies registered a year-on-year growth in the number of newly signed contracts, while the rest of them saw a drop in new contracts.
